    Project WILD activities are fun, hands-on, resource based education for youth, to help them discover the value of a healthy environment through learning activities focused on wildlife and habitat needs. Project WILD is recommended by Saskatchewan Learning as a supplementary instructional resource.
  • Sturgeon Outreach Program - Saskatchewan Watershed Authority

    Schools in Saskatchewan are learning all about the Lake Sturgeon. As part of a provincial program, the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority has teamed up with schools to raise and release a group of Lake Sturgeon in Saskatchewan. Watershed Authority fisheries biologist, Al Young, works with students and explains how they can help Lake Sturgeons re-establish themselves in Canadian Waters. The idea, according to Young is to get the kids to be more aware of the sturgeons, especially the problems with their populations.
