We're happy to say that SEN World Rivers Day at Nuit Blanche was a smashing success! Nuit Blanche drew roughly 10,000 people this year, many of whom met and engaged with the fantastic environmental groups in attendance that night.
SEN and Eat Healthy Foods Regina are proud to present Aloha Fest - the Antidote to Overshoot on August 29th. Aloha Fest is a new and exciting music festival 30 minutes outside Regina with camping, yoga, organic food, workshops, and more!
The Saskatchewan Eco Network had a great time co-coordinating The Village for Ecological and Social Justice at the 2015 Ness Creek Music Festival this year. The crowds weathered the rainy weather to meet and engage with many environmental and social justice organizations and businesses.
The Student Action Competition will be held during the 2015/2016 school year and is being offered to Kindergarten to grade 12 classes across Canada. There will be two prize packages, each worth $6,500 and more!
SEN has started selling tickets to our 2015 Raffle where you can have the chance to win a $2000 voucher for VIA Rail train tickets and two other amazing prizes! Tickets are $5 each and the we'll be drawing winners after the Ness Creek Music Festival on July 20th.
We were happy to host our 10th Annual Saskatoon Environmental Film Festival this April at the Roxy Theatre and our Green Un-Gala at PAVED Arts Centre. It was a great weekend of fantastic environmental films and networking. A big thanks goes out to everyone who braved the big Saturday storm and the Sunday fallout to come show your support for SEN and other environmental organizations in Saskatchewan.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for a chilly day in the park to celebrate our beautiful river system and all it provides for us. The Paddlewheelers and Rayney brought some fantastic music for all in attendance throughout the afternoon.
